As a dedicated husband and father in a blended family with four active kids in the Chesapeake school system, I’ve never witnessed a time in which there was a greater need for strong, experienced, and thoughtful leadership to ensure the successful futures of our children and nation. Whether protecting our youth and citizens as a Special Agent and leader within the Department of Homeland Security or serving our community in various non-profit and appointed leadership roles, I will always stand for what’s right and lead with strength, integrity, and transparency."

I have spent the majority of my life protecting those most vulnerable from violence and exploitation. I will work tirelessly to ensure safe and secure learning and transportation environments for all.

Accountability at every level is crucial to maintain the integrity of our school system. From School Board to Staff to Parents to Students, we must all strive to uphold the highest standards and be responsible for our actions.
MENTAL HEALTH
I will relentlessly pursue options and resources for students and employees to address increasing mental health requirements. We must support those in crisis and need of assistance.
PARENTS' RIGHTS
I firmly believe that parents have a fundamental right to make decisions concerning the upbringing, education, and care of their children.
VOCATIONAL/TRADE SCHOOLS
College isn't for everyone and it's not the only path to a successful future. We must enable students to pursue their passions and be career ready.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY & COMPENSATION
I am committed to responsible stewardship of funds, transparency in decisions, and creativity to achieve desired outcomes. To be the best we also need to recruit and retain the best; therefore, continuing advocacy in support of top pay and benefits for our educators, bus drivers, and support staff.
